Shanghai Watson Rally Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. ("Watson Rally") announced today that it has successfully completed a Pre-A round of financing, raising tens of millions of RMB. The round was led by Blue Lake Capital, with participation from Fenghua Venture, Pudong Venture Capital, and continued investment from existing shareholder Cherish Capital. Yuefeng Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor.
Since its establishment, Watson Rally has garnered significant attention in the capital markets. It has received recognition from industrial capital, support from market-driven specialized funds, and strategic investments from top state-owned institutions, bringing the total financing to over 100 million RMB.
Founded in 2022, Watson Rally focuses on the development of Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB) technology. It has completed the design and prototype delivery of its full range of EMB products in merely 18 months after the company startup. The company has initiated collaborations with several leading OEM clients in the automotive industry and continuously met the customers’ demands on prototype samples delivery and design updating, and successfully completing winter calibration testing for multiple EMB models in March of this year. At the same time, the company’s EPB production line in Pinghu, Jiaxing has been completed and is now in mass production.
The current round of financing will mainly be used to develop and deliver Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB) products, mass-produce Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) products, and further development.
