On the morning of December 8, Watson Rally Automotive Technology officially signed the agreement for its R&D and production base project in Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Zone. This new development adds strength to Pinghu’s electric vehicle industry cluster and marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
The signing ceremony was attended by Cai Xudong, Chairman and CEO of Watson Rally, along with the management team, and key officials from Pinghu, including He Miao, Standing Committee Member of Pinghu Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Development Zone Party Working Committee, as well as leaders Chen Huigang, Shen Yejuan, Wang Quanming, and Zhang Rong, who gathered to witness the event.

The project is funded and established by Shanghai Watson Rally Automotive Technology Company Limited. The company’s founding team comes from leading global Fortune 500 automotive firms and domestic publicly listed companies, bringing over 20 years of experience in the development and production of chassis brake systems.
Watson Rally specializes in the development of cutting-edge Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB) technology for electric vehicles, and is one of the few innovative companies in China with this core technology. Since its establishment in August 2022, the company has completed two rounds of funding, securing tens of millions in investment from several well-known firms.
As the company embarks on this new chapter, Watson Rally has taken a solid first step. However, this is just the beginning—like nature waiting for spring, the company looks forward to future growth and opportunities.
